The AI-PLC Agent processes only the information needed to operate the service and provide instructional analysis and reporting.

This may include:

• Account information provided by authorized users, such as name and email address
• Class roster information used to support student matching and authorized report workflows
• Instructional inputs such as Tasks, Success Criteria, scoring guides, student work samples, and other instructional artifacts
• Usage and technical information needed to maintain system functionality, reliability, and security

Schools and educators should provide only the information needed for the instructional purpose and should follow their organization's policies for handling student information.

Student Identifiers and AI Analysis

When student names or other direct identifiers are present in authorized instructional materials, the platform includes automated detection and masking before AI analysis. Codenames are used in place of student identities during analysis.

Student names can then be restored within the authorized final report workflow so educators can use the results with the appropriate students.

The purpose of this process is to allow educators to analyze student evidence while limiting the exposure of direct student identifiers to the AI analysis process.

Information is processed only for purposes related to providing and operating the platform, including:

• Generating instructional analyses and reports requested by authorized users
• Matching student evidence to the appropriate authorized class workflow
• Supporting professional learning and instructional improvement
• Maintaining, securing, troubleshooting, and improving the functionality and reliability of the service

Uploaded instructional evidence is not used for advertising.

Customer instructional evidence is not used to train generalized commercial AI models.

We do not sell user or student data.

Information may be processed by service providers necessary to operate the application, such as secure cloud infrastructure, authentication, storage, and AI-processing services, subject to applicable contractual and data-protection requirements.

Information may also be made available to authorized users within the same school or organization according to the organization's direction and permissions.

The platform is designed for use by educators, schools, and districts for authorized educational purposes.

Schools and districts determine which users are authorized to use student information and remain responsible for complying with applicable laws, regulations, contracts, and local policies.

The platform is designed to support those responsibilities through data minimization, automated identifier masking before AI analysis, controlled access, and educator review.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse.

No technology system can guarantee absolute security. We continually work to maintain safeguards appropriate to the information processed by the service.

Information is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service, support authorized educational use, meet contractual requirements, or satisfy applicable legal obligations.

Schools and districts may have additional retention requirements established through their agreements or policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the application or on our website.
